School Director
My first ever teaching job was at 18 years old, where I found my love for teaching preschool. After spending a couple of years as an assistant, I became apart of the Stamford Public Schools. There I helped grow and develop the School Readiness program. I spent 10 years teaching the school readiness program and during my time there I assisted in getting the program NAEYC accredited. I also spent my summers teaching in the special education inclusion program, helping implement IEP goals. After leaving public schools I thought I hung up my teaching cape. I quickly realized I longed to be in the classroom, and quickly jumped on the opportunity to join the Treehouse! I knew that I wanted more, and when the opportunity came for me to apply as the assistant director I moved as quickly as possible. Spending my time as the assistant was very short lived, as my leadership team could all see I had the potential for more. It was a great honor when I was asked to be the director while also joining the Cadence team. I am elated to be here and lead this school to it’s greatest potential that I know it has! One of the things I love most about being a Director is the relationships I am able to build with each individual child and their family. I truly believe that the staff here at Cadence are all unique and special! We are going to elevate our entire outlook on teaching. Your child will enjoy enriching age-appropriate activities, while learning with a specialized curriculum designed to be geared towards their interests and needs. I will always be here to support you and your child whenever needed!

Assistant Director
I’m so excited to be the Assistant Director here at Cadence Academy Preschool! My love for children started when I was just a little girl! I love everything about children, especially teaching them! I graduated college with my bachelors in Mathematics and received my masters in Early Childhood Education! Right after I graduated college, I applied and got a position at Anna and Jack’s Treehouse! I started with the treehouse as an assistant teacher for a wobblers class! I shortly moved into the Lead teacher position and the love for the little babies grew even more! Within the year I was promoted to Curriculum Director to incorporate developmentally appropriate learning throughout the whole school! The fun didn’t stop there, I finally just got promoted to Assistant Director! A lot of change happened quick but I’m loving every step of these transitions. Although I miss being in the classroom with the kids and teaching them, I’m also loving being able to see every class and help all the teachers become the best they can be for your little ones!
