Thank you for your interest in our Before and After School Program serving Kindergarten through 5th grade. I have been the Director of our program since it opened in June of 2004. As a Norwalk parent and resident myself, I am very pleased we are able to partner with the Norwalk Community School District and offer our program on-site at both Oviatt and Lakewood Elementary Schools.

Our program is organized in a club-like atmosphere. Your child can choose from a variety of carefully planned activities including arts and crafts, music and culture, reading, writing, drama, athletic and cooking. The club-like atmosphere is designed to offer your child the freedom to choose the projects that interest him/her while giving them a sense of independence. Our teachers will help your child with homework after school, in addition he/she may choose to relax, have a snack and play board games with friends. Each child is able to explore his/her interests and to interact with other children who share those interests. Our students, parents and teaching staff enjoy a community within a community atmosphere. It is such a pleasure to have former students return to our program to teach the next generation. Lead Teacher

Miss Olivia is our Lead Teacher has been with Cadence Academy for 5 years. She has an associate in applied science degree in early childhood education. Miss Olivia enjoys creating lesson plans that engage our K-5 students in developing skills to help them navigate through the academic and social & emotional growth events of the early elementary years.
