About Creative Kids Preschool in Hopewell Junction
Creative Kids Childcare Centers has been committed to providing children safe and nurturing learning environments since we opened in January 2001. Creative Kids Beekman first opened its doors in March 2007 and was our third Creative Kids location.
Our directors, teachers, and staff have created a welcoming environment that actively encourages young children to develop confidence and a positive self-image. Your child will participate in a wide variety of experiences where they’ll learn about themselves and the world around them.

Our Curriculum
Creative Kids teaches from The Creative Curriculum®, which leverages research and best practices so that we can take the needs of every type of learner into account. The Creative Curriculum® is grounded in 38 research-based objectives, which helps us maintain a high-quality learning environment where every child has the opportunity to become a creative, confident thinker. These objectives are based on school readiness standards and research has shown them to be predictors of future academic success.
Before & After School
Creative Kids Beekman is proud to work with the Arlington Central School District and we offer a fun and safe before and after school program for local elementary students. Our school is on the bus route for the following schools:
- Beekman Elementary School – 201 Lime Ridge Rd, Poughquag, NY 12570
- Noxon Road Elementary School – 4 Old Noxon Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603
- Vail Farm Elementary School – 1659 E Noxon Rd, Langrangeville, NY 12540

Nicole Ferris
Director
I began working in the Early Childhood field in 2007 and have continued to learn and grow here at Creative Kids. I have worn many different hats during my career. I worked as a Teaching Assistant in both the Infant and Preschool classrooms, I spent 3 years as Lead Toddler Teacher, and spent time as an Assistant Director at our Mahopac location. I have blossomed and found my true self as the Director at our Beekman location. I have been the Director at Creative Kids Beekman since August of 2013 and it has been the most rewarding part of my career. I spend each day working closely with families, children, and staff to ensure that our center is providing exceptional care for all ages. I ensure that children are learning while enjoying their fun-filled days and that staff are given the proper resources and support to be their best selves. What more could you ask for?
I live in LaGrange with my husband, daughter, and two dogs. I enjoy being outdoors, whether it be at the beach, snowmobiling, hiking, or camping. In my spare time, I can almost always be found curled up with a good book, traveling to whatever destination the author takes me.

Assistant Director
I have been part of the Creative Kids team since 2005 and spent my earliest years working in the Infant Programs at our Brewster location. Working as a Lead Infant Teacher made me aware of how much I love being a part of each child’s milestones. Watching a baby’s first steps or hearing their first words and then celebrating those exciting moments with their families was the best part of my day. I took on the role of Assistant Director at our Beekman location in 2017 and this position has allowed me to take part in milestones in every classroom. Celebrating these milestones with an excited mom and dad is still my favorite part of my day.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my nephews, and my niece. I enjoy playing soccer, softball, and living a well-balanced, active lifestyle.
