About Mini Texans Christian Learning Center Preschool in Boerne, TX
Our goal at Mini Texans Christian Learning Center is to provide a strong educational and spiritual foundation. We offer full-time enrollment and each class has an Early Childhood Curriculum that includes Christian education, gross and fine motor skills development, individual expression through play and activities, music and dance, numbers and pre-math lessons, language and vocabulary development!
Our Programs
Infant Care – A full day program for children newborn to 15 months, where they will:
- Engage in outdoor play
- Explore their environment
- Develop gross motor skills
- Receive visual, auditory, and sensory stimulation
- Develop muscles and gross motor skills
Toddler Care – A full day program for children ages 15 months to 1.9 years, where they will learn:
- Letter recognition – exposure to the uppercase alphabet
- Number recognition – exposure to numbers 1 to 10
- Primary colors recognition
- Primary shapes recognition
- Vocabulary development – building through recognition of popular animals, plants, food and other objects
- Motor skill development – Gross/fine motor skill development games and activities
- Music and songs – Christian songs, children songs, and nursery rhymes
- Expressive play – individual expression through structured free play
2 Year Old Care – A full day program for children ages 2 years old, where they will learn:
- Letter recognition – exposure to the uppercase alphabet
- Number recognition – exposure to numbers 1 to 10
- Primary colors recognition
- Primary shapes recognition
- Vocabulary development – building through recognition of popular animals, plants, food and other objects
- Motor skill development – Gross/fine motor skill development games and activities
- Songs and nursery rhymes
- Christian songs and stories
- Age appropriate language development
- Simple sequence activities
- Indoor and outdoor games and projects
- Expressive play through structured free play in “centers”
3 Year Old Care – A full day program for children ages 3 years old, where they will learn:
- Alphabet letters recognition
- Number recognition, learning 1-20
- Days of the week
- Months and seasons of the year
- Primary and secondary color recognition
- Primary and secondary shape recognition
- Vocabulary development – building through recognition of various types of animals, plants, food and other objects
- Gross/Fine motor skill development games and activities
- Songs and nursery rhymes
- Christian songs, stories and concepts
- Age appropriate language development
- Sequencing activities
- Indoor and outdoor games and projects
- Increased responsibility for belongings
- Pre-writing skills
- Expressive play through structured free play in “centers”
4 Year Old Care – A full day program for children ages 4 years old, where they will learn:
- Utilizing Abeka Textbooks
- Alphabet recognition, in and out of sequence
- Number recognition, in and out of sequence
- Days of the week
- Months and seasons
- Primary and secondary colors recognition
- Primary and secondary shape recognition
- Gross/Fine motor skill development games and activities
- Songs and nursery rhymes
- Christian songs, stories and worksheets
- Age appropriate language development
- Sequencing activities
- Indoor and outdoor games and projects
- Increased responsibility for belongings
- Pre-writing development
- Expressive play through structured free play in “centers”
Pre-Kindergarten Program – A full day program for children ages 4-5 years old, where they will engage in:
- Utilizing Abeka Textbooks
- Pre-Reading and Pre-Writing – upper and lowercase alphabet recognition in and out of sequence
- Pre-Math – number recognition 1-20 in and out of sequence, simple addition and subtraction
- Phonics
- Expressive Play
- Thanksgiving Luncheon with Mom and Dad
- Christian Christmas Program
- Graduation Ceremony
- Personal responsibility for belongings
After School Program – An after school program for school age children that will include:
- Transportation from Cibolo Creek Elementary, Curington Elementary, Fabra Elementary and Herff Elementary.
- Healthy afternoon snacks
- Outdoor play that includes basketball court, multi-use field and state-of-the-art play structure.
- Christian education
- Early release pickup from participating school.
- Fulltime care on student holidays including meals
- Opportunities to complete homework
Summer Program
Summers are a busy time for families and we understand that camps need to fit around your schedule. All classes are divided according to age to allow quality, age appropriate curriculum.
- Daily arts and crafts projects: Your child will have many opportunities to express themselves through arts and crafts projects
- Bible based education: Religious (non denominational) education and Vacation Bible School (VBS)
- Themed Fridays (i.e. Crazy hat day, pajama day, etc.)
- Daily Swimming: Daily recreational swimming in our 6’ deep pool with beach entry. Swimming lessons are available at an additional charge. Ages 3 and up only. Fully potty trained children only. Children 18 months to 2 years old will engage in monthly water sensory activities.
- Cooking Projects: Your child will have the opportunity to create and enjoy child friendly recipes. Ages 5 and up only.
- Weekly Field Trips: Weekly field trips to various locations (i.e. Bowling, Cascade Caverns, Boerne Gymnastics, etc..) Ages 5 and up only.
Extracurricular Activities
TOTS – Teams of Tomorrow
Teams of Tomorrow is a very unique ball handling, motor development, and fitness program for preschool – elementary aged students. TOT students attend classes each week and learn all kinds of cool basketball skills and drills. Check with your local director to see what classes are offered in your area.
Gigglebytes
The Gigglebytes® program offers quality computer education for young children ages 2-12.
Your child will learn to use computers as a tool, develop specific age appropriate computer skills, and become safe, competent computer users.
Lonestar Collective Dance

Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots is an elective program offered to children ages 3-8 that meets once a week at Mini Texans for 30- to 40-minute sessions. All Soccer Shots instructors are energetic and enthusiastic, are great teachers, and love working with children.
Your child will work on soccer skills, improving balance, coordination, and agility with the kids.
