About Cadence Academy Preschool in Oak Creek

The staff at Cadence Academy Preschool in Oak Creek takes a balanced and nurturing approach to early education that is proven to prepare preschool children for success in kindergarten. Intellectual development always plays a significant role in effective preschool programming, but we also attend to the social, emotional, and physical developmental needs of every child in our care through our Ascend Curriculum and Kind Child program.

Our Preschool’s Programs

Kind Child

Kind Child Program LogoKind Child is a program that helps us nurture and strengthen the social skills of our students and is a regular subject within our Ascend Curriculum. We focus on social and emotional skills every month and cover valuable character traits such as Responsibility, Thankfulness, and Respect every two months. Our goal is to elevate the emotional well-being of every student and encourage positive friendships all over our preschool!

Our Teachers

The teachers at Cadence Academy Preschool, Oak Creek come from a variety of educational backgrounds, but they all have a few characteristics in common. Our teachers have:

  • State-certification and meet all state requirements,
  • Completed an extensive training program of the center’s standards and specialized curriculum,
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification,
  • Completed annual hours of continuing education to enhance their skills and knowledge on child development topics and gain insight into new curriculum ideas.

Our Preschool’s Location

Cadence Academy Preschool, Oak Creek opened in August 2004 and is on the northeast corner of 1st Street and Marquette Avenue at 100 W Marquette Ave, Oak Creek, WI 53154.

The National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs (NAC) is a national accreditation program that was developed for early care and educational programs. NAC offers early childhood leaders the opportunity to demonstrate and document quality performance using research-based criteria and evidence-based practices. The National Accreditation Commission provides a comprehensive, ongoing quality improvement system and accredited schools must meet standards in the following 6 component areas: Administration, Family Engagement, Health and Safety, Curriculum, Interactions between Teachers and Children, and Classroom Health and Safety.

We found Cadence after our son abruptly lost his place at another daycare. We loved it after the first tour, and the lovely staff turned what was a very stressful search into an easy decision - we enrolled! We were nervous about the transition, but our son adjusted quickly and has done so well and made so many friends! He is always excited to go to “school.” So glad we chose Cadence!

I cannot say enough great things about Cadence Academy! I was hesitant to put my daughter in daycare at first, being that she is my first child and I was a bit nervous to leave her! However, I could tell right away when I visited for a tour that this was going to be the daycare that I was going to send my daughter to! Upon arrival the daycare was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming and answered all of my questions! Throughout the visit they were very thorough in telling me how the day to day ran and what I could expect my daughter to be doing while at daycare. Fast forward from my daughter entering at 4 months, to now almost a year and this daycare has exceeded my expectations. The staff there and the teachers that care for my daughter are amazing! They provide my child with love, care and everything that she needs while also making sure that she is thriving developmentally and hitting her milestones ( which I was VERY concerned with being a first time mom!). The teachers and staff are very attentive and are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that my daughter has a fun and engaging day, may this be with bubbles, painting, a plethora of crafts, or engaging activities that help to assist with perfecting those fine motor skills! The communication between the staff and parents are top notch, I always know what is happening with my daughter ( which puts me at ease) whether it be by the app provided by the daycare or by a phone call! I have always dropped off my daughter knowing that she is in good hands and that I never need to worry about the kind of care she is going to receive! I would recommend, and have recommended this daycare to anyone and everyone that asks me what daycare to go to! I am extremely grateful to have found this place and EXTREMELY grateful to the staff and teachers that take great care of my child everyday! Thank you!

We and our child love Cadence Academy in Oak Creek! No other facility compared when we were touring while I was pregnant. The facility is clean, everyone is so friendly, and their curriculum is structured but not in a way where the young kids don't feel like they are at daycare. Our child has learned so much in the year and a half that hr has been attending and I truly attribute it to all the activities and the teaching they do throughout the day.

We’ve had the privilege of sending our two little ones to this daycare for the past two years, and we have been so happy with our experience. Every teacher seems to genuinely cares about the kids, and I’ve loved seeing the way they can all greet each child by name, regardless of whether or not the kids have been in their classroom. This kind of personal touch has made such a difference for us. The former and current directors have both been absolutely amazing, consistently going above and beyond to understand our needs for both children, and to help accommodate our requests, especially for our youngest (now 13 months). It’s clear that the staff here are committed to providing an environment where kids are safe, well-cared for, and having a great time. We love seeing our littels come home happy every day and usually with new art to show off! Huge thank you to the team here for truly making this a great place for our family.
