Chief Compliance Officer

Sara Regan is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Cadence Education. Sara came to us from Desert Financial Credit Union, where she had extensive experience with corporate governance, multi-state regulatory and compliance issues, and a multi-location field service organization. Prior to this, she was a partner at Squire Patton Boggs, an international law firm, where she was a trial attorney focused on business disputes and fraud.  

Ms. Regan’s community service has been focused on children, serving on the board of directors of two non-profits: Candelen, a non-profit devoted to early childhood education and Desert Financial Foundation, a non-profit focused on education and financial wellness. She also chairs the audit committee of a local school district. Ms. Regan has a BA from the University of Arizona, an MBA from Arizona State University and her JD from UC Berkeley where she wrote her thesis on how legal ethics are portrayed in comedy films.
